Ziqiao Claire Wang

Founder

Hi! My name is Ziqiao Claire Wang, and I am the founder of Little Firefly, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children, particularly those with special needs. As a national-level fencer, I understand firsthand the power of physical activity in building confidence, resilience, and community. That’s why I’m passionate about ensuring every child, no matter their circumstances, has access to enriching experiences that can shape their future.

I founded Little Firefly because I believe that small acts of kindness, when united, can create a profound impact. A single firefly may only shine a tiny light in the darkness, but when many fireflies come together, they transform the night into a breathtaking tapestry of light. In the same way, our organization alone can only do so much—but with every volunteer, supporter, and advocate who joins our cause, we can brighten the lives of countless children and create lasting change in our community.

Edison Wei Fan Lin

Co-Founder

As the co-founder of Littlefirefly, my mission is to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Providing them with healthy exercise while boosting their confidence motivates me to work harder. As a varsity-level golfer, I understand that confidence is key to building strong relationships and achieving goals.​​

​I am grateful for the opportunity to work with these children, as it has strengthened my confidence as a leader. This experience has also deepened my commitment to serving the community, inspiring me to help co-found this organization with Claire. By creating our website and managing social media, I can reach supporters and recruit volunteers.
